WHY MUSLIMS ARE NOT HAPPY PEOPLE ?

 They´re not happy in Gaza.
 They're not happy in Egypt.
 They're not happy in Libya.
 They're not happy in Morocco.
 They're not happy in Iran.
 They're not happy in Iraq.
 They're not happy in Yemen.
 They're not happy in
 Afghanistan.
 They're not happy in Pakistan.
 They're not happy in Syria.
 They're not happy in Lebanon.
 *So, where are they happy?*
 They're happy in Australia.
 They're happy in England.
 They're happy in France.
 They're happy in Italy.
 They're happy in
 Germany.
 They're happy in Sweden.
 They're happy in the USA.
 They're happy in Norway.
They're happy in almost every country that is not Muslim!*
  And whom do they blame?*
 *Not Islam...*
 *Not their leadership...*
 *Not themselves...*
*THEY BLAME THE COUNTRIES THEY ARE HAPPY IN!*
*And they want to change the countries they're happy in, to be like the
countries they came from, where they were unhappy.*
*Try to find logic in that !*

22nd February (Parliament Resolution Day)

राष्ट्रीय विचार मंचपुणे
22nd February (Parliament Resolution Day)
अखंड जम्मू-काश्मीर संकल्प दिन :

JandK-Map.jpg

On the 22nd of February, 1994 the Indian Parliament* UNANIMOUSLY** passed the below resolution:

On behalf of the People of India, the Indian Parliament firmly declares that-
(a) The State of Jammu & Kashmir has been, is and shall be an integral part of India and any attempts to
 separate it from the rest of the country will be resisted by all necessary means;
(b) India has the will and capacity to firmly counter all designs against its unity, sovereignty and territorial
 integrity; and demands that -
(c) Pakistan must vacate the areas of the Indian State of Jammu and Kashmir, which they have occupied
through aggression; and resolves that -
(d) All attempts to interfere in the internal affairs of India will be met resolutely."

TODAY on the 22nd of February let’s re-iterate this resolution with more vigour and more determination.
Indian Parliament implies WE – the people, WE the 120 Crore citizens of India (Not only the politicians)!
** Unanimous implies that ALL political parties are in support. Thus it is NOT A POLITICAL issue – but a NATIONAL one.

SOME FACTS THAT EVERY INDIAN OUGHT TO KNOW ABOUT JAMMU AND KASHMIR
Ø October 26th 1947 – COMPLETE  merger of the state of J&K in India.
Ø  Pak Occupied Kashmir (PoK) created by India around Jan 1st1948! Sounds weird – but True!
o   We took the issue to UN for no reason.
o    Declared unilateral ceasefire and didn’t drive away pak army completely out of Kashmir.
o   This is the current LoC – Line of Control.
Ø   China Occupied Kashmir (CoK) – We lost to the Chinese aggression in 1962 and nowabout 36,500 sq.kms of Ladakh is illegally occupied by China.
Ø  Later Pakistan gave 5,500 sq.kms under it’s occupation to China as a gift.
So finally what’s the arithmetic? – We have retained less (@ 45%) and lost more. (Total J&K area
2,23,063 Sq. Kms. But Indian occupation counts to 1,01,000 Sq. Kms. only).

ARE YOU AWARE OF THIS?
Ø MYTHKashmir is the largest area in the J&K state.
FACTKashmir valley (Where the supposed to be problem is there) is only 15% in area of the entire J&K
state (Jammu is around 26% and Ladhak being the largest – 58%). Even by population Jammu is highest as
compared with Kashmir valley and Ladhak.

Ø MYTH:  The Kashmir problem is spanning the entire state of J&K
FACTThe so called problem is NOT IN  JAMMU;is NOT IN LADHAK; and not even in entire Kashmir
valley. But it is confined only to four of the 10 districts — Baramula, Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag–Shopia
Nagar.

Ø MYTHKashmiri people do not want to stay in India
FACTNo Gujjar, Shia, Pahadi, nationalist Muslim, Kashmiri Sikh and Pandit, Ladakhi, refugee groups,
Dogras, Buddists etc. were ever involved in any separatist agitations. Infact The Muslims in Kargil are
known as staunch patriots. They openly supported the Indian security forces during the Pakistani
intrusion in Kargil in the year 1999.
Anti national forces are only led by handful of self centred politicians whose support base is diminishing
day by day.

Ø MYTHThe Kashmiri people and particularly the Kashmiri muslims are the ones who are suppressed and oppressed.
FACTThe nationalist and the refugees are the real oppressed and suppressed masses. They include
Kashmiri Pandits who had to flee Kashmir during 1990 (4 Lakhs), refugees from PoK in 1947, West
Pakistan and during 1947 and 1965 wars.

Ø MYTHKashmir region has been neglected politically
FACTIn 2008, per capita central assistance was Rs 9754 in the state whereas it was Rs 876 per person in
backward states like Bihar. It includes 90 per cent as grants and 10 per cent as required to be given back, whereas the remaining states have to pay back 70 per cent. The table below is self explanatory:

JammuKashmir
Voters per Assembly seat 84,27062,673
Area per seat710.6 sq. Km.346 sq km.
Voters per Loksabha Seat15.29 Lakhs9.61 Lakhs
District1010
Average area of each District 2629 sq. Km.1594 sq. Km.
Length of Road4571 km7129 km
Government employees 1.25 Lakhs4.0 Lakhs
Employee in the Secretariat4621329
Total Budget on Tourism  10% of Total Budget85% of Total Budget
Number of tourist in 200985 Lakhs8 Lakhs

Ø MYTH: Backwardness, illiteracy  etc. are the root causes of the problem in Kashmir
FACT: After Kerala, J&K is the most literate state.  There are no slums in Kashmir valley – every home is a
permanent structure.

Ø MYTH: PoK region does not have any strategic importance
FACT: Gilgit in PoK has its borders linked with five countries such as Afghanistan, Tajikistan, China, Tibet
and Pakistan. From strategic point of view, this area of Central Asia is inaccessible and protected. This is a
point from where anyone can hold supremacy in whole of Asia having a strong military base.

Let there be no doubt in our minds that –

Getting back the entire J&K is a big task, but surely not an impossible one. If 120 Crore people of
this country decide firmly then nothing will be impossible.

Yogic management of work culture and work result in Gita

Yogic management of work culture and work result in Gita

Introduction
In this modern generation the art of Management has become a part and parcel of everyday life. In all organizations, where a group of human beings assemble for a common purpose irrespective of caste, creed, and religion, management principles come into play through the management of resources, finance and planning, priorities, policies and practice. Management is a systematic way of carrying out activities in any field of human effort. Its task is to make people capable of joint performance, to make their weaknesses irrelevant, says the Management Guru Peter Drucker. It creates harmony in working together equilibrium in thoughts and actions, goals and achievements, plans and performance, products and markets. It resolves situations of scarcity, be they in the physical, technical or human fields, through maximum utilization with the minimum available processes to achieve the goal. Lack of management causes disorder, confusion, wastage, delay, destruction and even depression. Managing men, money and materials in the best possible way, according to circumstances and environment, is the most important and essential factor for a successful management. It should literally transform how people think and help them finally realize the potential of a truly universal knowledge that is wisdom.
Work culture
An effective work culture is about vigorous and arduous efforts in pursuit of given or chosen tasks. Lord Sri Krishna elaborates on two types of work culture – "Daivi sampat" or divine work culture and "Asuri sampat" or demonic work culture. Daivi work culture  involves fearlessness, purity, selfcontrol, sacrifice, straightforwardness, selfdenial, calmness, absence of faultfinding, absence of greed, gentleness, modesty, honesty, absence of envy and pride. Asuri work culture  involves egoism, delusion, personal desires, improper performance, work not oriented towards service. Mere work ethic is not enough. The hardened criminal exhibits an excellent work ethic. What is needed is a work ethic conditioned by ethics in work. It is in this light that the counsel, "yogah karmasu kausalam" should be understood. "Kausalam" means skill or technique of work which is an indispensable component of a work ethic. “Yogah" is defined in the Gita itself as "samatvam yogah uchyate" meaning an unchanging equipoise of mind (detachment.) Tilak tells us that acting with an equable mind is Yoga. (Bal Gangadhar Tilak, 18561920, the precursor of Gandhiji, hailed by the people of India as "Lokmanya," probably the most learned among the country's political leaders. For a description of the meanings of the word "Yoga", see foot of this page.) By making the equable mind the bedrock of all actions, the Gita evolved the goal of unification of work ethic with ethics in work, for without ethical process no mind can attain equipoise. The guru, Adi Sankara (born circa 800 AD), says that the skill necessary in the performance of one's duty is that of maintaining an evenness of mind in face of success and failure. The calm mind in the face of failure will lead to deeper introspection and see clearly where the process went wrong so that corrective steps could be taken to avoid shortcomings in future. The principle of reducing our attachment to personal gains from the work done is the Gita's prescription for attaining equanimity. It has been held that this principle leads to lack of incentive for effort, striking at the very root of work ethic. To the contrary, concentration on the task for its own sake leads to the achievement of excellence – and indeed to the true mental happiness of the worker. Thus, while commonplace theories of motivation may be said to lead us to the bondage or extrinsic rewards, the Gita's principle leads us to the intrinsic rewards of mental, and indeed moral, satisfaction.
Work results
The Gita further explains the theory of "detachment" from the extrinsic rewards of work in saying: If the result of sincere effort is a success, the entire credit should not be appropriated by the doer alone. If the result of sincere effort is a failure, then too the entire blame does not accrue to the doer. The former attitude mollifies arrogance and conceit while the latter prevents excessive despondency, demotivation and selfpity. Thus both these dispositions safeguard the doer against psychological vulnerability, the cause of the modem managers' companions of diabetes, high blood pressure and ulcers. Assimilation of the ideas of the Gita leads us to the wider spectrum of "lokasamgraha" (general welfare) but there is also another dimension to the work ethic  if the "karmayoga" (service) is blended with "bhaktiyoga" (devotion), then the work itself becomes worship, a sevayoga" (service for its own sake.) Along with bhakti yoga as a means of liberation, the Gita espouses the doctrine of nishkamya karma or pure action untainted by hankering after the fruits resulting from that action. Modern scientists have now understood the intuitive wisdom of that action in a new light. Scientists at the US National Institute of Mental Health in Bethesda found that laboratory monkeys that started out as procrastinators became efficient workers after they received brain injections that suppressed a gene linked to their ability to anticipate a reward. The scientists reported that the work ethic of rhesus macaques wasn't all that different from that of many people: "If the reward is not immediate, you procrastinate", Dr Richmond told LA Times. (This may sound a peculiarly religious idea but it has a wider application. It could be taken to mean doing something because it is worthwhile, to serve others, to make the world a better place – Ed.)
Sri Krishna's advice with regard to temporary failures is, "No doer of good ever ends in misery." Every action should produce results. Good action produces good results and evil begets nothing but evil. Therefore, always act well and be rewarded.
