Dhenkanal (23/2) - SRI GURU ANANT ASHRAM JATIYA SARBODAYA SAMITI is a social organization working since last 55 years in the principles of Mahatma Gandhi & Vinoba Bhave to eradicate the un-touch-ability disease of our great culture in the principles of Sarbodaya Movement. Bhuinpur is the head-quarter of around 2 hundred centres in all over the state.
Yesterday, Yearly Magha Mela and Yagyan was celebrated at the head-quarter. Nearly 2 Thousand people mostly ST,SC, Backward & Ladies from all over the state have been participated in this occasion.
The Dhenkanal Sub-Collector Pradipta Kumar Sahany attended the event as the Chief Guest & praised the social theme of the ashram. The Chief Speaker National Convener of Rashtriya Yuva Sangathan Dr. Biswajit Roy narrated how the founder Sadguru Sri Satyabadi Satapathy was closely related with Vinoba Bhave & Malati Choudhury.
Rajya Sabha MP A.V.Swamy phoned to the mobile of the farmer leader & State Advisor of the Samiti Er. Debashisha Hota & gave his speech. He regretted since he could not attended this grand event due to Parliament Budget Session & promised to come in the coming March during the vacation. Here noteworthy that, the Inauguration of Sarbodaya Sadhana Mandap has been postponed for his absence.
State President Samant Ghanashyam Das & State Working President Basant Pattayat gave the welcome speech whereas Local Committee President Narayan Samal gave the thanks. The meeting was co-ordinated by Er.Hota. The other people spoke on this occasion are State Secretary Govind Chandra Mallik, State Treasurer Kamakhya Prasad Hota, State Executive Members Baba Chandramani Das, Gopal Swain & Ramesh Swain.
The 5-coluor flag was inaugurated at 7.30 pm and Yagyan started. Spiritual talking & singing has been continued for whole night. The sound operator Annada Sankar Panigrahy stopped the Sound system without any reason mid-way. The public was aggrieved. But, no mishap happened due to present mind of Er. Hota.
1 section police force has been deployed to maintain law & order situation. Hence Er.Hota gave thanks to District Collector Bishnu Prasad Panda, SP Manoranjan Mohanty, ADM Smt. Sushama Rani Devi, Dhenkanal Sub-Collector Pradipta Kumar Sahany, Dhenkanal Sadar IIC Manas Gadanayak & all other administrative & police personnel.
